The Shishamo (Capelin Fish) is also known as 多春鱼 in Mandarin, which literally translate to "fish with lots of roe or egg".

Cooking Suggestion:

1. Grilled Shishamo (Salt Grilled)

- Simply season with a pinch of salt and grill until skin is crispy and slightly charred.

- Best served with lemon or ponzu sauce.

- Great as an appetizer or snack.


2. Air-Fried Shishamo

- Healthier alternative to pan-fyring.

- Spray with a bit of oil and air-fry at 180 degree celcius for 8-10 minutes until golden.


3. Pan-Fried Shishamo

- Lightly coat with flour and pan-fry for acrispy finish.

- Serve with rice and soy dipping sauce.


4. Temoura Shishamo

- Dip in tempura batter and deep-fry until light golden.

- Pairs well with tempura sauce or matcha salt.


5. Oven Baked Shishamo

- Bake at 200 degree celcius for 12-15 minutes. Easy, mess-free, and still crispy.

Storage Instructions:

Store frozen at -18 degree celcius to maintain optimal freshness. For best quality and flavor, consume within 3 months of purchase.
